A preliminary figure is released after about 1.5 months and a final one after about 3 months.
What it is
It is the end product of goods and services generated by residents of a country. In addition, it is one of the main economic aggregates of the national accounts of a country, as it represents globally the final result of productive activity in an economy.
How it's calculated
It is calculated as the sum of consumption, investment, government spending and trade balance (the latter is the difference between exports and imports).
Market implications
It is an indicator that reflects the level of dynamism of the economy.
Limitations
The first publication can not be considered definitive because it is preliminary. We will have to wait for the final data that may differ from those published previously.
