Qué es
El Producto Interior Bruto (PIB) mide el valor de todos los bienes y servicios finales producidos en Polonia en un periodo. Lo publica la Oficina Central de Estadística (GUS) y es el indicador más amplio del tamaño y el ritmo de la economía polaca.
Cálculo
La GUS lo estima por las vías de la demanda, la oferta y las rentas, que deben coincidir, con datos ajustados de estacionalidad y bajo el SEC de Eurostat. Se difunde en niveles y como variación intertrimestral (QoQ) e interanual (YoY).
Implicaciones
Es la referencia principal del ciclo de una de las mayores economías de Europa central. Un crecimiento fuerte respalda al zloty y da margen al Banco Nacional de Polonia (NBP) para mantener tipos altos; una desaceleración adelantaría recortes y pesaría sobre la divisa.
Debilidades
Se publica con retraso y el avance se revisa después, por lo que el primer dato no es definitivo. El desglose por componentes suele llegar más tarde que la estimación rápida, y variables como la inversión y el consumo aportan volatilidad trimestral.
